A reputable London based University is seeking a Marketing Officer to join their Marketing team, which oversees Postgraduate marketing and recruiting activity. This exciting role with have the primary focus of promoting the University through various different marketing schemes in both the UK and across the world.

Job responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of multi-channel campaigns to raise awareness, generate engagement, promote events, and increase student acquisition and conversion
  • Contribute to the development of a detailed Postgraduate marketing plan aligned with the strategic direction set out in the marketing and student recruitment strategy
  • Take part in developing and implementing a wide range of targeted email campaigns to support Postgraduate student recruitment from enquiry to enrolment
  • Produce unique and engaging content (including videos, testimonials and blogs) for web, social and email campaigns, working with key stakeholders including alumni and student ambassadors
  • Work on the promotion of Postgraduate recruitment events
  • Stay in the loop with key trends in Higher Education, digital marketing and Postgraduate student recruitment

Candidate profile:

  • Experience working in marketing within the Higher Education sector
  • Proven expertise in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of digital technologies, emerging trends, and best practices across various communication channels, including web, print, email, and social media
  • Proficiency in creating email campaigns using email marketing software
  • Experience collaborating within a team to generate creative ideas
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Salary and benefits:

  • Annual salary: £33,000 - £41,000
  • Full time, permanent
  • Work location: London
  • Work pattern: hybrid (60% of time on site)
  • Generous annual leave: up to 42 days per annum (30 days annual leave + 8 statutory and 4 additional days during the Christmas period)
