This is a business consultancy that provides insights to clients as well as building solutions -
THE ROLE
As a Senior Location Analytics Consultant, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Working with clients on a range of projects e.g analysing the best location for a new store - what are the demographics, macroeconomics, completion etc
- Alteryx - bringing datasets together. Also looking for statistical relationships and doing performance analytics work
- SQL - will be used a lot in your general day to day - some of the output of their consultancy work is transferred in the system using SQL, bolted onto GIS as a tool for analysis
Your Skills And Experience
- Previous client-facing experience
- Experience with Alteryx but also open to Tableau/PowerBI/Looker
- SQL experience
- GIS/Location analytics experience
- Being inquisitive about clients' business and understanding the consumer - how they interact with the area, think geographically
- Consulting background or retail background - consumer-focused
