Role: Digital Officer

Our client is seeking a Digital Officer to be the first line of support for internal users of their website, Content Management System (CMS), and CRM. This role is crucial in keeping the website up to date, crafting engaging emailers and newsletters, and ensuring that internal users have the right permissions and knowledge to utilize digital tools effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Web Content Management: Create and publish new web content, update existing content, and ensure everything is current and engaging.
  • Email Marketing: Use MailChimp, Charity CRM, and Google tracking to produce impactful mailers and newsletters.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Assist in digital marketing efforts, track campaign performance, and provide insights for improvement.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with member user queries.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update CRM contacts, process new website registrations, and manage event bookings.
  • Training & Best Practices: Conduct inductions and training on Episerver/Optimizely (CMS), Charity CRM, and Mailchimp, and recommend best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in CMS platforms, preferably Optimizely.
  • Strong digital marketing skills and a keen interest in the field.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and Outlook email.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Desirable:
  • Understanding of relational databases/CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Mailchimp, HTML, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Sensitivity to data collection and protection.
