The OpportunityA leading national firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to its London office, working within the Major Projects and Cost Consultancy department.

You will be involved in a broad mix of new build and refurbishment projects within the commercial and industrial sectors, with project values typically ranging from £2 million to £50 million.

Site days are classed as one of your three office-based days, meaning reduced commuting and an improved work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre- and post-contract cost consultancy services across a portfolio of major commercial and industrial projects

  • Lead cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and final account processes

  • Work independently while receiving support and oversight from Directors as needed

  • Manage client relationships and contribute to business development within the department

Candidate Requirements

  • MRICS-qualified

  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience

  • Proven experience working in a PQS consultancy environment

  • Confident working autonomously on medium to large-scale schemes

  • Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
