Position: Senior Staff Nurse - Medical Ward
Location: Westminster

Job Description:

  • Lead and deliver exceptional care in our Stroke Rehabilitation unit within an Independent Hospital setting.
  • Provide specialized nursing expertise for patients undergoing stroke recovery, ensuring tailored care plans and continuous support.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the Medical Ward.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for junior staff, contributing to their professional development.
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient care, adhering to clinical protocols and best practices in stroke rehabilitation.
  • Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest advancements in stroke care and medical practices.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid nursing qualifications and relevant experience in stroke rehabilitation.
  • Proven experience in a similar senior nursing role, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to coordinate care effectively.
  • Sound clinical knowledge and expertise in stroke rehabilitation practices and protocols.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Valid nursing license and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
