Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for your next opportunity? I'm currently partnering with a leading company in need of a skilled engineer to help maintain essential building systems across multiple sites.



About the Role

In this hands-on role, you'll be crucial to maintaining critical AC units to ensure optimal environmental conditions. Your day-to-day will involve Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive call-outs, and breakdown repairs on various AC systems, such as Chillers, CRAC units, Split A/C units, VRVs, VRFs, FCUs, and AHUs. This role is a great fit if you're seeking a high-impact position in a corporate or critical environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform scheduled PPM and manage reactive repairs to exceed client expectations.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work aligns with health, safety, and F-Gas compliance standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including logbooks and F-Gas registers.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose issues proactively and provide recommendations to enhance system performance.
  • Collaboration: Build solid working relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors.


Candidate Requirements

  • Qualifications: NVQ/C&G Level 2 (preferably Level 3) in refrigeration and air conditioning; F-Gas certified (C&G 2079 Cat1).
  • Experience: Solid track record in maintaining and repairing diverse AC units, including chillers and specialized systems.
  • Personal Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a focus on customer service.
  • Physical Capability: Physically fit, with the ability to work at heights, carry equipment up to 20kg, and complete tasks independently as needed.
