Air Conditioning Engineer

Russell Taylor Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a full-time Air-Conditioning Engineer for Commercial Maintenance works covering North London, Essex and Herts.
The candidate is to have a minimum of 5 years experience in AC maintenance (not looking for an installation engineer). Ideally with experience working on Daikin & Mitsi Splits, Daikin and Mitsi VRVVRF systems, AHUs, Airedale Denco Downflow Units in Comms Rooms. Candidate also needs to have good fault finding knowledge experience on these systems.
Main clients are Retail Distribution Centres, Offices and Hotels so quite varied.
Main duties are PPM Maintenance, Service, Reactive, Repairs to quoted works (not system unit replacements) etc.

Main Responsibilities:

•Maintenance, repairs and service of the following items
•Air conditioning
•Multi-skilling tasks where applicable
•Asset collection and database improvement
•General plantroom housekeeping
•Small chiller systems (preferred but not essential)
•Minor installation (preferred but not essential)
•Ensure that appropriate risk and contingency management procedures are in place, and are being followed.
•Carry out fault finding on items of equipment covered by contract
•Carry out remedial repairs to these items of equipment
•Carry out on-site installation of new equipment on site
•Update any on site database for tasks carried out.
•Provides technical support to the parts order/store/issue facility for the contract.
•To liaise with customer representatives and client management to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
•To be on call as arranged.


Key Attributes - Knowledge - Skills - Experience:

•Minimum of 5 years experience in refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance contracts.
•NVQ L3 in Air Conditioning (L2 may be considered)
•Good understanding of parts order/store/issue processes and practices.
•Qualified to required level.
•Able to manage time effectively in the face of conflicting priorities and time scales and can be relied on to deliver their objectives.
•Excellent communication skills.

Rate - £20 Per hour Plus Overtime & Call Out .
OTE - £45,000 +

Included - Company Van (can be used for personal use - policy to be discussed at interview), Fuel Card, Phone, Tablet etc. Selected maintenance tools (hand tools not included)

Company Pension Scheme.

25 Days annual leave per annum + bank holidays if not on call standby.
