Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: London / Greater London

Salary: Highly competitive rate (DOE)

Standard Hours: 42.5h, from 7:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday

Employment: Permanent, full-time

Years of relevant experience: 3+ years of strong experience

The Role Overview

Following the successful growth, our client EPPH is looking to increase the team further as their projects and contracts portfolio continue to expand. The position will report to the Mechanical Engineering Operations Manager.

You will be involved in local and remote contracts, through installation and maintenance aspects of Air conditioning, electrical, and building services engineering. You must be commercially trained in an Air conditioning biassed discipline and hold the relevant F-Gas qualification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Air conditioning maintenance
  • Air conditioning services installation
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs to all associated Air conditioning systems
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
  • Be able to read, understand and work from written and verbal instruction
  • Able to have a problem-solving approach, troubleshoot a job no matter its difficulties
  • Very good communicator and team player, willing to mentor junior employees
  • To record work information as required for operation
  • Working closely with Maintenance and Project teams
  • Maintain vehicle condition and adhere to their procedures and health and safety
  • Flexible, self-motivated, keen and quick learner and shows initiative to meet EPPH and their client’s requirements

Additional skills and experience:

  • Proven 3+ years’ strong experience within the mechanical industry
  • Full clean manual UK driving licence. Ability to pass Enhanced DBS checks
  • Knowledge of products related to mechanical, electrical and construction trades, equipment use, maintenance, repair, install and operation
  • Knowledge of suppliers associated with the supply of materials and equipment
  • Knowledge of the repair and maintenance + functional elements of building services systems
  • F-Gas accredited (Cat 1, 2 & 3)
  • We will support your further training courses as required
  • Must be willing to commute and stay away when required (with notice)
