The Role:
They're seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Electrical Design Engineer to lead their electrical design team within the Building Services division. This is a key leadership role that will involve managing electrical projects, overseeing team members, and working closely with clients to ensure the successful delivery of designs. The successful candidate will be working on exciting and complex projects such as residential developments, hotels, and educational buildings. Additionally, a strong focus on business development is required to expand our client base and drive growth within the division.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical team, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Take ownership of electrical design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure an integrated design approach.
- Interface with clients, attend meetings, and present design proposals.
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Actively contribute to business development efforts, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the growth of the Building Services team.

Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
- Proven experience in electrical design within building services, specifically across Residential, Hospitality, and Education sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
- A passion for business development and client relationship management.
- Knowledge of relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux) and building regulations.
