This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong background in Mechanical engineering to join an exciting new role based in London. Our client has opened a brand-new M&E department and are looking to bring in an experienced engineer that can help to lead the team and guide less experienced members of staff. If you are someone with a significant background in Mechanical Engineering that is looking to move into a similar role in your career, then apply below.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A BEng (Hons) degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients
  • The ability to use their own initiative and to work under pressure
  • Experience leading a team
  • An excellent ability to write their own reports
  • Experience of presenting and meeting with stakeholders

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance for members of the team
  • Assist with projects by providing technical support and advice
  • Use design knowledge to ensure production of high-quality drawings
  • Design of HVAC systems
  • Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings, and any other contract documents developed through the RIBA work stages
