Your new companyIt is a Building Services design practice that provides a strategic and innovative approach to delivering engineering consultancy services for its clients. They have recently won a large package of work on a number of frameworks around London and are looking to appoint a new strategic hire in their London office to make the most of this, with somebody coming in to be a project lead on a large and prestigious project and eventually lead the Mechanical side of the London business. Your new roleIt is a strategic appointment helping to lead the London business as a technical expert and becoming a key lead on prestigious projects that span the next 5 years. A key aspect of the role is to develop the London business and get a structure in place to deliver more work from existing clients, and so it is an exciting opportunity for an experienced design engineer to further develop their career within a consultancy on a growth trajectory in London with a view to a Director's role in the future.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a Chartered Engineer (CIBSE preferred) with a mechanical bias. You will have a strong background in building services design (7+ years) across a number of sectors and project types. You will also have experience working within an SME environment. You must be able to maintain and enforce existing systems and have experience of developing and managing a team.
