Your new companyOur client is a large, well-known FM Provider who works across a number of commercial sites across the UK. They are hiring an Evening Mechanical Engineer who will act as a company representative on client sites and must uphold outstanding standards of commercial service. Your new roleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs and reactive maintenance activities. You will be working Monday - Thursday Evenings with Fridays off and working 1 Saturday per month. Your key duties will include:
- Carry ou PPM activities and reactive work when required
- Complete all associated documentation for the required role
- Utilise career knowledge alongside diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Uphold health and safety guidelines and ensure work is to a high standard
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Carry out any other reasonable management requests
- Partake in regular team meetings to update on progress and discuss relevant issues
What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience of operating as a Mechanical Engineer within a commercial environment. You will also require:
- Experience with BMS Systems and excellent fault-finding skills
- Full driving licence
- Level 3 qualification
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision
