A well-established FM firm who are renowned for their staff retention and prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for a HVAC (Refrigeration/AC) Shift Engineer to work on one of their flagship contracts in the heart Westminster, Central London.

This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add a HVAC (Refrigeration/AC) Shift Engineer to their team.

General works would include service & maintenance.

This is a demanding contract in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of 5 multi-skilled engineers.
  • Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the sites plant, equipment, and services.
  • Respond to Building Management System alarms and emergency repairs as needed.
  • Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the permit to work systems.
  • Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
  • Compliance with and record keeping for quality management system, ensuring compliant logbooks are in place.
  • Participation in the engineer call out rota.
  • Organise and assist in reactive repairs to the sites M&E systems.
  • Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as required.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically qualified or a qualified plumber, ideally to a minimum of Level 3.
