Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to join a flagship site in the heart of London. You will join the largest building service providers in the UK who are well renowned for progressing their engineers with additional training and career development. You will be working on a commercial property Located in Liverpool street on a fixed Monday - Friday pattern, (8am-5pm)

This role will have you undergo PPM and Reactive maintenance on Mechanical and Electrical equipment, oversee the work of the maintenance team on site, strengthen relations with the clients and ensure all compliance is adhered to.

Duties:

  • Lead and organise a team of engineers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all statutory compliance and safety regulations are met.
  • Plan and execute both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with the team to maintain high standards of building services.
  • Manage workload distribution and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot various plant and equipment, including:
  • HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
  • BMS (Building Management Systems)
  • Chillers and boilers
  • Electrical distribution systems and switchgear
  • Emergency lighting and fire alarm systems
  • Water treatment systems
  • Escalators and elevators
  • Generators and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies)
  • Lighting control systems

Requirements:

  • Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)
  • Apprentice trained - desirable
  • Building Services Maintenance experience
  • Very Client facing

Salary and Benefits:
