What You'll Do:

  • Supervise and inspire a team of engineers, ensuring PPMs and reactive tasks are completed to an exceptional standard.
  • Manage and maintain critical systems, including UPS, HVAC, chillers, pumps, and electrical distribution.
  • Be the key decision-maker for high-voltage switching and building shutdowns.
  • Monitor and respond to BMS and PMS alarms, addressing issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Provide technical solutions to complex challenges, ensuring minimal downtime for critical operations.
  • Oversee contractors, uphold safety standards, and maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities.

What We're Looking For:

?? Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.?? Critical Environment Experience: Proven expertise in data centers, hospitals, or 24/7 operational facilities.?? Skills That Shine: Strong HVAC, electrical, and mechanical plant knowledge, plus experience with BMS/PMS systems.?? Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team under high-pressure conditions.?? High Voltage Authorised Person: Essential for this role.?? Bonus Points: 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
