Copello is recruiting an Electrical Engineer on behalf of a renowned maritime company based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering team dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their vessels.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified electrician or electrical engineer.
  • Knowledge of British Wiring Regulations (or equivalent).
  • Experience with 12V, 24V, and 415V 3-Phase systems.
  • Familiarity with engine-driven power generation and HVAC systems.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults effectively.
  • Experience interpreting and working from electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain all electrical systems on vessels and engineering facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist Senior Marine Engineers in supervising and coordinating shift engineers.
  • Log and report faults, repairs, and maintenance work in the compliance system.
  • Conduct safety checks on vessel electrical systems in line with statutory legislation and company policies.
  • Drive technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
