Copello is recruiting an Electrical Engineer on behalf of a renowned maritime company based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering team dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their vessels.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified electrician or electrical engineer.
- Knowledge of British Wiring Regulations (or equivalent).
- Experience with 12V, 24V, and 415V 3-Phase systems.
- Familiarity with engine-driven power generation and HVAC systems.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults effectively.
- Experience interpreting and working from electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain all electrical systems on vessels and engineering facilities.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist Senior Marine Engineers in supervising and coordinating shift engineers.
- Log and report faults, repairs, and maintenance work in the compliance system.
- Conduct safety checks on vessel electrical systems in line with statutory legislation and company policies.
- Drive technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
The company offers a competitive salary plus an opportunity for further development - The role is based out of London and will be on a shift pattern, both days and nights 4 on 4 off.
