Panoramic Associates are currently working with a London based Local Authority in recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role offers the chance to take ownership of key mechanical works across a diverse portfolio of corporate and leisure properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance, compliance, and performance.

Mechanical Engineer Location: London | Hybrid | £350/dayType: 6 Months Contract (Inside IR35)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mechanical works across a wide range of properties.
  • Lead and coordinate internal engineers and external contractors.
  • Ensure all works meet statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Drive performance against agreed targets.
  • Provide a proactive and professional service to stakeholders.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Extensive post-degree experience in UK construction or building services.
  • Proven experience managing mechanical engineers or contractors.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with public sector property portfolios is a plus.
