Our client are a large, well-known FM Provider who works across a number of commercial sites across the UK. They are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to operate on their hospital site based in West London.
Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs and reactive maintenance activities. Your key duties will include:
- Utilise career knowledge alongside diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Ensure that equipment is being maintained and operated in a safe manner
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems
- Ensure that all relevant records are complete before leaving site
- Improving health and safety policies and procedures whilst upholding guidelines
- Carry out any other reasonable management requests
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience of operating as a Mechanical Engineer within a commercial environment. You will also require:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must have exceptional fault-finding skills in mechanical systems
