Your new companyOur client is a large, well-known FM Provider who works across various commercial sites around the UK. They are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to operate across a number of sites around Central London, including locations such as Belgravia and Mayfair.

Your new roleOur client is looking for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer who can carry out all manner of mechanical maintenance and repair duties to commercial properties. Days of operation will be Monday to Friday and key duties will include:

  • Maintain and repair installations such as ventilation systems - (AHU, Intake/extract) and heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.)
  • Maintain and repair water system assets, such as booster sets, calorifiers and water heaters.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service for clients, including answering any queries and keeping them informed of site activities at the time of service visit
  • Complete all work related documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain a log of all inspection reports and remedial work
  • Apply a general knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate would have experience within a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment. You must have relevant qualifications required, e.g. C&G Level 3 or Level 5 / NVQ or HNC equivalent. You should also have knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe work systems. What you'll get in returnWhen successful in securing a role, you will receive:
