We are seeking a Mechatronics Engineering Teacher to deliver outstanding teaching and learning to young people aged 16-19. This role is ideal for both qualified teachers and those with a wealth of engineering experience who are looking to gain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be part of a talented staff team at a successful Sixth Form, supported to develop your teaching practice in an environment of positive encouragement and mutual respect.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment in Mechatronics Engineering.
- Stretch and challenge students to reach their potential, ensuring they feel confident about their future careers.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that inspire and motivate students.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of teaching practices and curriculum development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience of the students.
- Must hold a teaching qualification.
- Assessor qualification is required.
- Experience in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality education.
- Ability to engage and inspire students aged 16-19.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- For unqualified teachers, willingness to undergo training to obtain a recognised teaching qualification.
