The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our team, covering London and the Home Counties. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of sites, providing high-quality maintenance and mechanical services in commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems.
Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical equipment and systems.
Performing inspections and testing to ensure mechanical systems are compliant with regulations and operating efficiently.
Installing and commissioning new mechanical systems as required.
Managing and prioritising workloads to meet service deadlines and client requirements.
Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including service reports and timesheets.
Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring all work is completed in a safe manner.
Responding to emergency call-outs and breakdowns as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a mobile role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems.
Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with commercial and residential mechanical systems.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the Home Counties.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Experience of selecting and installing a wide range of pipework types and systems
Experience of working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience of working with pumps (DOL and inverter driven) and capable of
undertaking fault finding / repairs when necessary
