Principal Mechanical Design Engineer: City of London (£65-75k per annum)
I am currently working with a leading contractor based in the City of London who are looking to expand their team and take on a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer. With many years experience in the industry to offer this contractor is working on some of the largest projects across the UK alongside some of the most well known design consultancies.
This client is an established market leader providing the design, installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems to numerous work sectors including; commercial offices, banking establishments, data centres, education, government buildings, residential infrastructure, retail, and pharmaceutical laboratories. This is a brilliant opportunity for a strong Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to step into a busy role and lead some of the most challenging and rewarding projects on the engineering market.
Key responsibilities of the Principal Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Lead different projects and ensure deadlines are met.
- Proficient AutoCAD and Revit.
- Modify and produce concept design reports.
- Mentor and advise junior engineers.
- Communicate with the client and different project teams to communicate project progress with the client.
- Review drawings and calculations.
- Site visits and surveys.
- 5 days a week
