Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum plus bonus

Euro Car Parks is a renowned national car parking operator and one of the leading UK providers of innovative and technology-based car parking solutions. Providing specialist car parking services to a wide range of blue-chip clients throughout the UK.

Working within a dedicated and friendly team of engineers and technicians, you will be operating in a stimulating and dynamic technical environment with responsibility for ensuring our installations across the UK are operating at peak efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering.

Principal Mechanical Engineer responsibilities will include

  1. Designing products based on the requirements of the company
  2. Presenting design plans to Managers
  3. Producing technical documents that meet company requirements
  4. Conducting equipment and system testing
  5. Developing CAD project drawings and reviewing drawings from junior team members for accuracy
  6. Collaborating with Project Managers
  7. Guiding our team of Field Engineers through complex projects
  8. Evaluate final products overall performance, reliability and safety
  9. Prepare product reports and documentation
  10. Complete detailed designs and oversee the work of others in this function, ensuring high standards are met.
  11. Conduct risk assessments of current engineering practises
  12. Proven track record of delivering mechanical design solutions
  13. Ability to use CAD
  14. Broad knowledge about the design and operation of systems outside of speciality
  15. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and bringing specialist experience where applicable.

Ideally you will have 10 years plus of electrical experience
