About the Role:
Toro Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer on behalf of a leading specialist MEICA contractor in the UK. This role offers the opportunity to oversee and manage site service projects from contract initiation to completion, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, materials, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and oversee the successful delivery of site service projects within agreed budgets and timelines.

  • Ensure all commercial and contractual obligations are understood and adhered to throughout project execution.

  • Conduct site surveys and scope works, providing detailed information for quotations and service work proposals.

  • Assist in the preparation of quotations for service projects and collaborate with sales teams to maximize business opportunities.

  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and ensuring customer expectations are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role within mechanical engineering, ideally within the water industry and a construction project environment.

  • Knowledge of construction regulations, including CDM, LOLER, DSEAR, and Confined Spaces.

  • Strong commercial awareness, including forecasting, contract management, and change control.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement RAMS and a Program of Works.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00

  • Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
