Cold Water Booster Set Pump Engineer - Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Cold-Water Booster Set Pump Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs of cold water booster sets, as well as storm and sewage pumps. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
Cold Water Booster Set Pump Engineer - Roles & Responsibilities
- Travelling to customer sites within the M25
- Conduct routine maintenance on cold water booster sets and associated pump systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps ensuring peak performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform installation and commissioning of new pump systems.
- Diagnose faults in pump systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on pump operations and maintenance.
Cold Water Booster Set Pump Engineer - Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in servicing cold water booster sets, storm, and sewage pumps.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing pumps and associated systems.
- Strong knowledge of pump operations, including hydraulic principles and system design.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willing to travel
- On-call availability for emergency breakdowns (1 in 4)
