Rotating Equipment Engineer Remote Refinery Petrochemical Chemical

We are looking for a Mechanical Risk Engineer with experience of rotating equipment or/and inspection of rotating equipment to carry out risk engineering /loss prevention surveys of power/renewable generation plants, including property damage and business interruption assessments. Assisting our clients with loss reduction measures and providing risk selection advice to clients, brokers and underwriters are key components of the job.

The position requires a flexible approach to travel with up to 80 days per annum spent carrying out risk surveys on a truly world-wide basis. This will be working with a mixture of clients such as conventional power generation, renewables and energy transition. Good organisational and interpersonal skills are essential in order to develop a strong working relationship with our colleagues' client base and insurance underwriters and their engineers.

With proven experience of a range of rotating equipment such as; Power generation plant/design and operations Aero/marine engine maintenance Ship/ submarine maintenance
