Our client is a well-established and growing building services consultancy based in South Bank, London who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding design team due to the growth of the business.
The successful candidate will excel in engineering design and must be comfortable leading projects from inception to completion, working with minimal supervision. They will also assist in planning and managing an appropriate resource to deliver projects.
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be expected to complete the hands-on design work & calculations on all Commercial Mechanical systems such as Combined heat and power, group and district heating systems, Fire protection and life safety systems, Gas installations, Heating and ventilation installations, Mechanical handling and document distribution systems.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - London Position Remuneration
- Salary: £40k - £55k per year
- Working hours: 9am - 5:30pm
- Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - London Position Overview
- Hands-on design of all mechanical systems on Commercial, Retail & Residential projects.
- This includes Combined heat and power, group and district heating systems, Fire protection and life safety systems, Gas installations, Heating and ventilation installations, Mechanical handling and document distribution systems.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - London Position Requirements
- 4+ Years of experience in HVAC & Building Services, working on Commercial projects in a similar role.
- Hevacomp or IES Software experience
- Hands-on technical design experience of Mechanical systems
- Must be local to London
- AutoCAD and Revit experience advantageous.
- Attained or working towards chartership
