I am recruiting exclusively for a leading multi-discipline specialist contractor, established in 1970's, providing Building Services, Construction, Facilities Management, and Energy Solutions across the UK and Ireland.

As a medium-sized MEP contractor, they pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions across a range of sectors, from cutting-edge healthcare and education projects to leisure and commercial developments.

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their team, based in their Central London office.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator to bring their technical expertise to exciting projects and be part of a dynamic, solution-driven team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical estimating process for high-profile projects, with a focus on healthcare, science labs, and other technical builds.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material take-offs, labour, and equipment pricing.
  • Collaborate closely with the pre-construction team to deliver accurate and competitive bids.
  • Evaluate and negotiate tenders, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide value engineering solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
About You:
  • Proven experience as aMechanical Estimatorin the construction industry, ideally with a background inhealthcare, laboratories, and other technical projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a track record of successful project bids.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A proactive approach to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
