Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with an established and leading renewable energy provider specialising in commercial solar installations, maintenance, and energy storage solutions. Together we are looking to recruit a Service Engineer supporting existing and new commercial assets in the London area, inside the M25.
The Service Engineer role comes with a salary up to 45,000, company vehicle, fuel card and further development in the solar sector.

Responsibilities and duties of the Service Engineer role
Reporting to the O&M Manager you will:
- Service and repair solar PV systems, conducting replacement of equipment and inverters.
- Conduct rooftop inspections and carry out minor mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Perform system diagnostics and fault-finding.
- Install monitoring systems and complete firmware upgrades.
- Support with solar PV installation tasks.
- Assist with panel cleaning when required to support panel optimisation (as a second man).
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- 18th Edition Wiring regulations are essential.
- Previous experience working with rooftop solar.
- A full clean driving license.
- Experience with Operations and Maintenance tasks is desirable
