What You’ll Do:As a Technical Manager, you will:
- Lead and Deliver Excellence: Own technical risk and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with specifications and legislation.
- Drive Innovation: Focus on design optimization and identify opportunities for improvement while mitigating risks.
- Collaborate and Inspire: Provide technical guidance to teams, clients, and stakeholders, fostering relationships that support growth and innovation.
- Ensure Best Value: Oversee internal and external designs to guarantee technical accuracy and value delivery.
- Promote Health & Safety: Lead with safety-first values in all activities, ensuring a robust health and safety culture.
- Manage design and technical processes, ensuring compliance with standards and legal requirements.
- Deliver technical advice to support business development and ensure project success.
- Prepare detailed project reports, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Lead CPD initiatives to foster team competence and development.
- Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical building services design and technical management.
- Operational project installation experience with a solid grasp of design and build/traditional construction contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen and proven experience in technical project delivery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Desirable qualifications: I.Eng, MCIBSE, MIET, B.Eng (Hons) or equivalent.
