Field Based Condition Monitoring Engineer

Location: Home-based with on-site work across the Southeast of England

Counties Candidates Can Live In: Kent, West Sussex, Hampshire, Greater London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Overtime and Company Car

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (with flexibility based on client requirements)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Condition Monitoring Engineer to join our team. This field-based role involves working with clients across the Southeast, providing essential condition monitoring services and asset reliability solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to asset reliability and operational efficiency across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities for the Field Based Condition Monitoring Engineer:
  • Conduct condition monitoring services, including thermography, vibration analysis, ultrasound emission, and oil analysis.
  • Report findings through a smart asset management platform (SAMP), covering a wide range of rotating and electromechanical assets.
  • Execute condition-based maintenance strategies aligned with asset database routes.
  • Continuously improve monitoring processes and methodologies.
  • Analyse and interpret data, compiling detailed reports for clients.
  • Report asset defects and log notifications within client ERP systems.
  • Identify opportunities to minimise equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements for the Field Based Condition Monitoring Engineer:
  • Experience in condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
  • Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography and Ultrasound qualifications
  • A valid UK driving licence (essential – company vehicle provided).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Southeast region.
  • You will have a proven track record in HSE training. IOSH and CCNSG are typical and desirable but not essential
