Qualifications and Skills:

  • NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
  • F-GAS certification (City & Guilds 2079-11).
  • Expertise in ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
  • Experience with diverse HVAC systems, including chiller plants and packaged units.
  • Ability to enforce UK environmental and health standards effectively.

Desirable:

  • Experience in remote or challenging environments.
  • Certificates in Confined Spaces, Compressed Gases, or Pressure Vessels.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
  • UK driver's licence.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance per SFG20 guidelines.
  • Oversee HVAC repairs and stock assessments.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and pre-shift briefings.
  • Manage documentation for HVAC tasks, ensuring proper control and updates.
