Fantastic opportunity to work for a specialist FM Service Provider situated in West London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to be based on a corporatecontract in Central London.The successful candidate will be Electrically biased with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. You will be responsible for a small team of engineers and will ensure the day to day running of the contract (Hard services/PPM/reactive maintenance) under the direction of the Contract Manager.

Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm
Key duties & responsibilities
- Provide input into the management of the planned maintenance schedule, ensuring associated work tasks are completed in accordance with the agreed PPM planner, SLA and KPI targets,
- Complete PPM and reactive works activities in accordance with contract requirements, and arrange for the site team to complete tasks in line with the company competency appointment(s).
- Prepare Authorisations to work (as per Permit System) and Supervise works carried out by specialist sub-contractors
- Work with the Contract Manager to prepare extra works / remedial quotations in line with contractual requirements.
- Work with the Contract Manager to identify opportunities to self-deliver sub-contracted maintenance activities.
- Ensure all statutory records are kept up to date and available for inspection.
- Review subcontractor RAMS (Issue authority to works as required and prepare/review RAMS for reactive/remedial works.
- Liaison with contractors and supplier (control of permits and escorting duties)
- Complete / assist completion of PPM regimes
- Monitor stock and start ordering procedure
- Daily, weekly and monthly PPM checks eg, HVAC, AHU's, FCU's, Plumbing, Emergency lighting tests etc
- Offer technical support to the Engineering team
- Attend client meets as and when required
- Carry out hands on duties as and when required
Applicants for the role must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Fully qualified to recognised electrical (Apprenticeship, C&G, Level 2&3 etc)
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- Knowledge of working with a budget and knowing how to manage costs.
- Previous experience of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Experience of working in a building services environment.
- Good communication (both written and verbal) skills
- A good understanding of compliance
- Competent in the use of IT including all MS Office packages and CAFM Systems
