Venn Group are working with a university based in London to recruit for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician

Duration: Permanent

Location: London

The successful candidate will:

  • Maintain and install various types of instruments and equipment used in research and teaching.
  • Collaborate with staff and students to provide technically innovative and competent manufacturing and test solutions in support of research programmes and teaching.
  • Assist and advise academic staff, researchers and students in the design and setting up of project and research test apparatus
  • Support undergraduate and postgraduate students during practical classes and project work across a range of subjects
  • Contribute to the organisation and supervision of teaching laboratories, ensuring the availability and safe use of laboratory equipment

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong engineering background and experience
  • Experience with CAD
