Senior Operations Technician – Delegated AuthorityÂ
We are delighted to be working with a Leading International Lloyd’s broker to support the recruitment of a Senior Operations Technician for their Delegated Authority Operations division.
As part of a collaborative team, you will play a pivotal role in the technical operations team, ensuring smooth operations and a high standard of work across all Delegated Authority activities.
The ideal candidate would have experience in handling binder slip creation, processing of third party bordereaux, profit commission calculations and statistics/Earned to Incurred figures. This makes the position perfect for either an experienced technician looking for the next step or a senior technician seeking to expand their expertise.
Our client offers highly flexible working, only requiring 3 days per month in the office providing excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of Binding Authority Slips and Endorsements
- Processing of third-party Bordereaux
- Handling and resolving client queries in respect of both slip and premium issues
- Collaborate closely with Brokers, Underwriters, and technical colleagues to produce accurate documentation and resolve queries efficiently
- Manage your workload effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality work is delivered
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role within the Lloyd’s market
- Proven expertise in Binding Authority operations
- Expertise in analysing and verifying third-party bordereaux
- Experience in calculating profit commissions (preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in industry platforms such as DCOM, ATLAS and IMR
