We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Manager to join our growing team, delivering high-quality residential developments across West London. This is a full-time, office and site-based position, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to be fully involved in the technical delivery of live projects.

About the Role:
As Technical Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all post-planning technical aspects of residential schemes, ensuring that detailed design information is accurate, compliant, and delivered to site on time. You will liaise with consultants, local authorities, and construction teams to ensure smooth project delivery from technical sign-off to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production and coordination of technical and working drawings from planning approval through to site completion.
  • Oversee the appointment and management of external consultants (architects, engineers, utilities, etc.).
  • Ensure all design work complies with Building Regulations, NHBC/LABC standards, and planning conditions.
  • Manage technical submissions for roads, sewers, utilities, and statutory approvals.
  • Work closely with the construction team to resolve technical issues and support buildability on site.
  • Attend regular site meetings to track progress and ensure any design issues are swiftly addressed.
  • Ensure all technical information is delivered in line with programme requirements and budget constraints.
  • Maintain clear records of design changes, technical approvals, and consultant deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Manager or Senior Technical Coordinator within the housebuilding industry.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction, technical detailing, and relevant regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Comfortable working full-time from the office and on site - this is not a hybrid or remote role.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • HNC/HND or degree in construction, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of 65,000 - 75,000 depending on experience.
  • Opportunity to work with an established and reputable housebuilder.

  • Involvement in a variety of residential projects across West London.

  • Supportive team culture with clear routes for professional development and progression.

  • Exposure to all technical aspects of project delivery, from detailed design to site completion.

Location:
Office and site-based in West London, with developments located across the surrounding area.
