Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and dedicated Personal Assistant to support the Head of our School. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Head's schedule, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is pivotal in supporting the Head's strategic initiatives and maintaining the high standards of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management: Organize and manage the Head's diary, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Communication: Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, on behalf of the Head. Draft letters, reports, and other documents as required.
  • Meeting Coordination: Arrange and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including filing, record keeping, and document management.
  • Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the Head and internal/external stakeholders, including staff, parents, and external organizations.
  • Project Assistance: Assist in various school projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to school policies.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in all matters.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Knowledge of school administration and educational environments is desirable.
