Berry Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leadership, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment. Our client is based in Central London.

Location: Office-Based (London)
Salary: 20.49 per hour PAYE (25.58 per hour Umbrella)
Contract: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (Maternity/Paternity Cover)

About the Role:
As a Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for managing schedules, handling correspondence, and coordinating key activities. Working closely with senior teams, you will facilitate effective communication and streamline administrative processes to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary & Inbox Management: Coordinate schedules, meetings, events, and travel arrangements, ensuring optimal time management.
  • Correspondence Handling: Manage sensitive communications, prioritising and escalating urgent matters as needed.
  • Meeting Support: Prepare agendas, distribute papers, and take accurate minutes and actions to ensure productive meetings.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in administrative tasks, embracing new technology to enhance workflows.
  • Strategic Coordination: Support Directors in aligning departmental activities with organisational priorities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional and effective communication.

About You:

  • Experience: Proven experience in providing PA support at a senior level, ideally in local government or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a meticulous approach to record-keeping and communication.
  • Resilience & Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and remain calm under pressure.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships across all levels.
  • Proactive & Innovative: A forward-thinking mindset, continuously seeking improvements and embracing new technologies.
