PA to the Bursar - Independent School, Ealing

Location: Ealing, London
Contract: Permanent full or part-time (year-round or term-time options available)
Salary: Up to 40,000 per annum (depending on contract)

An outstanding independent school in Ealing is seeking an experienced PA to the Bursar to provide high-level administrative support and ensure the smooth running of the Bursar's office. This is a varied role that also includes clerking for the Governors, making minute-taking experience essential.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing proactive administrative and organisational support to the Bursar
  • Handling correspondence, diary management, and meeting arrangements
  • Preparing reports, documents, and presentations
  • Acting as Clerk to the Governors, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking accurate minutes
  • Liaising with key stakeholders, including school leadership and external contacts


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or similar role
  • Strong minute-taking and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • The ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Experience in an education setting is desirable but not essential


Salary & Benefits:

Full-time, year-round: 40,000 per annum (35 days holiday + bank holidays)
Term-time + 3 weeks: 33,538 per annum
Term-time + 4 weeks: 34,308 per annum
