Our client is a well-established healthcare provider with a 20-year history on Harley Street, seeking a confident and outgoing Bookings Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient bookings and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all surgical and clinic bookings in accordance with company processes
  • Liaise with patients, practice managers, and medical staff to arrange appointments
  • Handle patient queries via phone and email, providing clear and concise information
  • Maintain accurate patient information in the clinic's management system
  • Generate confirmation letters and admission packs for patients
  • Assist with insurance authorisations and billing processes
  • Contribute to ongoing volume targets and KPIs for the bookings team

Requirements:

  • Prior private sector medical/clinic experience (circa 3 years)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience dealing with patients over the phone and via email
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Desirable:

  • Experience using Semble (formerly known as Heydoc) clinic management software
