About the Role:As an International Account Manager, you will deliver sales and profit growth by effectively managing distributors and opening new markets across North & Eastern Europe and Turkey. Your passion for business development and marketing will be key in building lasting relationships and driving success. You will also have the opportunity to frequently travel to international offices to strengthen client relationships.
What You'll Do:
Business Development:
- Build businesses from scratch in key markets by identifying and appointing the best distribution partners.
- Motivate and stimulate distributors to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Monitor in-market sales and stock levels, ensuring budget realisation.
Marketing:
- Develop and implement a marketing activity calendar with distributors.
- Collaborate with International and local Brand Managers to align marketing activities with brand strategy.
- Ensure successful implementation of new product developments (NPD) and funded marketing activities.
Financial Management:
- Manage Customer P&L's, prepare profit forecasts, and monitor market profitability.
- Allocate marketing budgets and maintain transparency in all expenditures.
Distributor Relations:
- Challenge and support existing distributors to maximise growth.
- Evaluate distributor performance and identify potential new partners.
Logistics Coordination:
- Input monthly demand forecasts and liaise with Export Customer Service to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Who You Are:
Qualifications:
- Educated to a high standard with a track record in international account management, particularly in the FMCG sector.
- Proven ability to develop new territories and a strong understanding of marketing and brand-building activities.
Skills and Attributes:
- International mindset with cultural sensitivity in communication.
- A hunter for business, hungry for success-a true go-getter.
- Self-starter, determined, and a team player with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities, both internally and externally.
