We are excited to be recruiting an Account Manager for an amazing Europe-wide, niche travel company, that is the chosen business partner by all of the leading OTA’s.This company has been established for many years, they are hugely successful and provide a fantastic basic salary and hybrid working (just 2 days a week in London).

Job Description:

The purpose of this role to ensure that all key account opportunities with OTA’s and Tour Operator partners are maximised.

  • As an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in being the main point of contact for the company’s global business partners
  • Review the performance of all key accounts on a regular basis deciding actions to improve performance
  • Provide great problem-solving and customer service levels by liaising between partners and the relevant support departments within the company
  • Keep updated on all the company's products, whilst keeping an an eye on market trends and what competitors are doing
  • Have discussions with important people like stakeholders and decision-makers, developing and maintaining relationships
  • Use reporting tools to predict potential business opportunities based on transaction numbers and audiences
  • Work with the Business Development team to make sure new partners get on board smoothly
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure the setup with new clients is done accurately
  • Share knowledge and ideas with your colleagues in your department
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from key account management and sales support to provide top-tier service

Experience Required:

  • MUST HAVE a good understanding and experience in API-based partnerships within the travel industry
  • Proven experience in Account Management within the travel industry
  • Self-driven and independent, with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong market knowledge and business acumen
  • Proficient in sales and negotiation, with a track record of relationship-building
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a determination to achieve results
  • Confident, decisive, and skilled in problem-solving
  • Excellent English, written and spoken
  • Ability to travel internationally when required per quarter
