The Role
As a Paid Search Account Director, you will lead and grow the agency’s paid search function, managing high-profile client accounts, and mentoring a talented team of paid media professionals. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the agency's PPC strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee paid search strategies that align with client goals, ensuring innovative, data-driven, and effective campaigns.
- Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met with excellence.
- Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of paid search specialists, ensuring they deliver high-quality work and achieve their professional growth objectives.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and contribute to new business pitches.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other channel leads (e.g., SEO, Social, Programmatic) to ensure integrated and cohesive strategies.
- Budget Management: Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of spend to maximize ROI.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in paid search strategy, implementation, and optimization, ideally within an agency environment.
- Exceptional client management skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4).
- A track record of managing and growing successful teams.
- Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and data visualization.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution when needed.
- Passion for staying ahead of industry trends and applying them to campaigns.
- Experience with cross-channel collaboration and delivering integrated marketing strategies.
