I am recruiting a Senior Account Executive/Account Manager for a multi-award-winning Strategic Communications, Public Affairs and Campaigns consultancy to develop and execute global campaigns on behalf of their growing and diverse international client base.

This company is a leading player in the Public Affairs Agency space, founded in 2013.

They represent and advise many of the biggest companies, coalitions and industry associations across the globe from its offices in Brussels, London, Washington DC, Dublin and Cape Town.

Description

Following a series of major new client wins, my client is now recruiting a Senior Account Executive/Account Manager to drive and support engagement across their growing international client base.

Senior Account Executives/Account Managers are responsible for developing, managing and executing campaigns on behalf of their clients, implementing integrated communications and public affairs plans, managing daily client interactions and reporting, developing new business leads and pitching for new accounts.

This position is scoped to be based in their office in London, but candidates based in other European capitals or working remotely will be considered. Some international travel will be required.

The Senior Account Executive/Account Manager will:

  • Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of communications and public affairs campaigns carried out on behalf of major clients
  • Work as part of an international team servicing clients on U.K., European, and global accounts
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions and reporting
  • Help to drive business development, including through expansion of existing accounts and identification and acquisition of new clients.

Profile

A successful 'Senior Account Executive/Account Manager - Public Affairs' should be highly motivated, proactive, able to act independently and build positive team relationships, eager to learn, and open to working in a fast-paced environment on a wide range of issues.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years public affairs and/or public affairs communications experience, in an agency or corporate setting
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven experience managing client accounts
  • Experience in translating complex policy or regulatory files into concise and actionable recommendations for clients.
