Exciting chance to join a gorgeous British brand, as it continues to expand both its collections & store portfolio. My client is looking to recruit a Junior Merchandiser, to support the department in achieving the companys ambitious sales growth and profit targets. The role will see you focusing on producing meaningful analysis, delivering commercial and cohesive ranges, trading the stock and maximising sales potential. You will be working closely with a variety of business functions and will become a mentor developing the MAA on the team, whilst reporting into the Senior Merchandiser.
Responsibilities include -
Producing weekly, seasonal and ad hoc analysis that can be used to make strategic decisions within the team and across the wider business
Review weekly sales and reacting appropriately to maximise sales opportunity.
Oversee effective & accurate stock distribution to potentialise performance across all trading channels
Collaborate with Buying & Design to establish a balanced, commercial and profitable range suitable to the customer profile
Be a key link between departments communicating relevant changes in product, intake and trade actions.
Work collaboratively with Ecommerce ensuring the website is at optimum performance for thecustomer
Responsible for identifying training needs, developing and supporting junior team members
Youll currently be working as an experienced AM looking for the next stepin your career, having worked in a fashion head office for a few years. Youll have strong communication skills, be the king or queen of logical analysis and creative problem-solving skills, and have a trading mentality constantly looking to find opportunities to achieve and beat profit. Advanced knowledge of Excel is key, as is meticulous organisation & attention to detail and great multitasking skills.
