Reeson Education is delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity for a dedicated MontessoriAssistant in a well-established Montessori school in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to support early years education in a nurturing, child-centred environment.
Position Details:
- Expected Start Date: 6th April 2025
- Salary: Highly competitive and dependent on experience
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours (Term Time):
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead Montessori teacher in delivering a high-quality, child-led educational program.
- Support and engage children in various activities that promote independence and holistic learning.
- Prepare and maintain the learning environment in line with Montessori principles.
- Observe and document children's progress to support their development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a teaching or childcare setting (Montessori experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- A recognised childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Certificate).
