Our client is a technology-driven trading firm that thrives on volatility. With a team of elite traders, brokers, and technologists, they push boundaries daily. Now, they’re looking for an exceptional candidate to manage the relentless flow of execution costs with transparency, efficiency, and precision.

This is a fully office-based role—no hybrid, no remote. You'll be sitting alongside brokers on the trading floor, immersed in the action.

The Role:

In the high-stakes world of trading, execution costs can make or break a deal. You’ll own the full spectrum of trade-related fee reconciliation, broker payments, and commission reporting. This isn't back-office number-crunching—it’s about optimizing costs, holding counterparties accountable, and driving smarter execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile daily execution fees, clearing costs, and brokerage commissions across global markets.
  • Maintain real-time oversight of commission structures, negotiating better rates when possible.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with brokers, clearing firms, and internal teams.
  • Partner with traders and brokers to optimize execution strategies.
  • Prepare and analyze commission reports for P&L impact, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting on commissions and transaction costs.
  • Drive automation and process improvements for enhanced efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/CFA a plus.
  • 3-5 years in a similar role at a trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank.
  • Strong grasp of exchange fee structures, execution models, and trading strategies.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must; SQL and automation tools are a bonus.
  • Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to handle large data sets under pressure.
  • Precision in reconciling high volumes of transactions.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across trading, operations, and finance teams.

If you're a numbers-driven, detail-obsessed financial expert who thrives under pressure and loves the energy of a live trading floor, we want to hear from you.
