We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems (Agresso) & Process Analyst who is adept at working with finance systems during critical periods such as mergers, acquisitions, and transitions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defining financial processes and be familiar with systems like Agresso or similar finance enterprise systems. This role involves significant interaction with business stakeholders to map out current and future processes, ensuring smooth financial operations during organisational changes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Analyse and understand complex processes within a matrix organisation to suggest and implement continuous improvements.
- Map as-is, interim, and to-be finance processes as the organisation undergoes transformation.
- Support the creation of new business units abroad, including updates to financial processes such as VAT.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Financial Reporting and Control, Management Accounting, Group Tax, Solution Architecture, and Business Units to map processes and elicit system requirements.
- Liaise with Agresso engineers and vendors on the system’s capability to support interim and future financial processes.
- Define and document necessary system changes for both Agresso and other ERP systems, working closely with engineers and solution architects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Finance Processes and Systems within a medium to large-scale enterprise.
- Exceptional business analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a matrix of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience in finance process transition within an M&A context.
- Proficiency with the Agresso system is highly desirable.
- Expertise in writing system requirements and acceptance criteria.
