We are partnering with a prominent financial institution seeking a dedicated individual to join their Enterprise Risk and Operational Resilience team. This role uniquely combines elements of Operational Risk and Operational Resilience, with a strong emphasis on managing and analyzing data.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain data and reporting processes for operational risk and resilience functions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support the rollout and ongoing development of the operational risk framework, including risk and control assessments and monitoring activities.
- Oversee the database used for tracking and managing operational risk events, collaborating with business teams to ensure proper quantification and reporting.
- Facilitate resilience testing and reviews to ensure the organization operates within agreed thresholds.
- Maintain and update key processes and impact assessments in partnership with critical business service owners.
- Present management information and insights to senior teams and committees, providing updates and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Experience in operational risk or resilience functions within a financial services environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (e.g., pivot tables); experience or an interest in learning SQL and Java is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, with experience handling and interpreting large datasets.
- An understanding of financial markets and operational processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
- A proactive approach, with a strong desire to develop technical and professional expertise.
