Butler Rose is proud to represent a leading professional membership body seeking a dedicated and proactive Risk Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Risk function and contribute to the development of a robust risk management culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments and key stakeholders to identify, manage, and report on Principal, Corporate, and Departmental risks.
  • Maintain and update the Risk Dashboard, ensuring alignment with the Half Year Risk Reporting cycle.
  • Support business areas in implementing risk management processes and assist in developing risk assessment criteria.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to promote risk awareness and management practices across the organisation.
  • Conduct research to identify emerging risks and support the leadership team in understanding potential future challenges.

Candidate Profile:

Essential:

  • A technically minded individual with demonstrable experience of undertaking risk associated activities and processes or working in a similar level role.
  • Experience in working with risk methodologies and techniques to support the updating of risk registers, compilation of risk reports and papers to Committees and Boards.
  • Proven administrative capabilities and an effective communicator who is able to be proactive in driving risk awareness across an organisation.
  • Be collaborative in supporting business in the collation of risk, control and action updates.
  • Ability to analyse changes in risk data/information and effectively share and escalate to the Risk Officer as appropriate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong technical ability with MS Office (Excel/ PowerPoint/Word/Outlook), Teams and SharePoint
  • Experience in capturing information in real time on relevant documents

Preferred:

  • A risk /audit qualification or working toward one.
  • Experience of, or a good understanding of ICAEW processes
